Goldsboro - Ms. Shirley Deloatch Breeland, 71 of 106 Livingston Drive, passed on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Wayne UNC Healthcare, Goldsboro, NC surrounded by her family. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:30pm at Greenleaf Christian Church DOC, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Dr. William J. barber, II officiating. She will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 11:00am at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 14, 1946 in Northampton County, NC to Willie Clifton and Dorothy Darden DeLoatch. She is survived by her sister, Ernestine Powell (Navin), brother-in-law, James Gardner; eight nieces and nephews: Grady DeLoatch (Ola), Tyrone Gardner (Antoinette), Robin DeVeaux (Melvin), Kim Miller (Greg), Shawana Powell, Shawn DeLoatch, Marlo Wright (Wade) and Crystal Spence, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
