Aunt Shirley, and my Mom(Mildred-deceased now) were close sisters. I can remember my mom and us(my sister/brother) going to Aunt Shirley home on frequent Sunday visits back in the day. Aunt Shirley meant so much to my mom, just the thought brings my tears. Aunt Shirley always welcome us with her Sunday dinner(I loved her cooking) and warm hospitality. Aunt Shirley always had a graceful tone in her voice that was angelic and peaceful when she speaks. GOD has kept Aunt Shirley with us for many many many years. Me and my sisters and brothers (Mildred children) will always be grateful for her love and kindness towards us. Aunt Shirley is not here in the flesh, but in spirit with GOD. May GOD's love and healing bring comfort and strength, Cousin Shirley and siblings. My deepest heartfelt condolences to all.
Love always, Irene Mathis Carter and Family (Jacksonville, Florida).
