Goldsboro - Mrs. Shirley J. Richardson, 73, was welcomed home by his heavenly father on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11:00am at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy’s Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy’s Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117, Dudley, NC.
She was born on February 18, 1950 in Wayne County, NC to Freddie Lee Jones and Singer B. Jackson Jones. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Harold Cleven Richardson Sr.; her father, Freddie L. Jones; her children; siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
