Dudley - Shirley Ann Russell, 54 of 143 Colonel Warrick Rd, departed this life Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at New Saints Delight Church in Mount Olive. Burial to follow in the Cobb Cemetery in Faison, NC. The wake will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations on Wayne Memorial Drive. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Lee Boseman Russell, and grandparents Vonell and Eva Mae Boseman. She is survived by her father, John Russell; two daughters, Evony (Ron) Miller and Hattie Mae (Donyell) Morrisson; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild, two brothers, Billy (Sonja) Russell and John (Shree) Russell Jr.; and two sisters, Joyce (Lawrence) Hall and Judy (Dwayne) Hill.The family will receive friends at the home of aunt Sandra Boseman Oats at 317 Fourth St., Calypso.
