Ms. Shirley Spruill's Obituary
Goldsboro - Ms. Shirley Speed Spruill, 57 of 5181 Wayne Memorial Drive, passed on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. The celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Joe A. Jackson officiating. She will be entombed at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 6:00pm to 6:30 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, which will be followed by an inspirational wake from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
She was born on June 28, 1958 in Halifax County, NC to Maryland Harrison and Lorine Speed. Her beautiful spirit lives on through her daughter, Nicole Spruill of Huntersville, N.C., and her mother, Lorine Speed of Goldsboro, N.C.
