Fremont - Mr. Silas "BoBo" Best, 102, passed on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 1:00pm at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Fremont Cemetery, 174 Winding Branch Avenue, Fremont, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on Mach 20, 1919 in Wayne County, NC to Tommy and Carrie Armwood Best. He is survived by four children, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
