Goldsboro - Mr. Stanley "Stan the Man" Davis Sr., 59 of 204 McArthur Street, passed on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at Church of God & True Holiness, 611 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born in Goldsboro, NC on January 31, 1957 to Melba Jean Davis and Elijah Baker. He is survived by his wife, Sereaisa; two sons: Stanley Jr. and Bryan; three: brothers: Michael, Jeffery and Jeffery Lamont; five sisters: Bonita, Ladonna, Angie, Chelle and Jeannie.
