Henderson - Pastor Teresa D. Butler, 76, completed her earthly assignment on Thursday, March 14,2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:50am at Alpha and Omega Christian Center, 1210 Clingman Street, Goldsboro, NC with her brother, Apostle Frank M. Dawson as the eulogist. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born February 17, 1948 in Lenoir County, NC to the late Ulis Norman Dawson and Ethel Mae Hines Dawson. leaves to cherish her mother, Ethel Hines Dawson; her son, Josiah Jeremiah Scott Sr. (Laura) from Far Rockaway, NY; grandchildren, seven siblings, her only living aunt, Doris Murdock, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, beloved church members in Henderson, NC, other relatives and friends.
