Goldsboro - Mr. Thadis Coley, II, 58, passed on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 3:00pm at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC, with Apostle Daniel L. Uzzell of the Wave of Glory Church officiating. He will be laid to rest, Monday, February 25, 2019, 10:00am at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Rd., Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00pm, the family will be present 5:30 to 7:00 at J. B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc., 1701 Wayne Memorial Dr., Goldsboro, NC.
He was born in Wayne County, NC on July 21, 1960 to the late Thadis and Alice Coley. He is survived by his sons, Thadis Coley III of New York, NY and Marquis L. Noble Sr. (Rachel) of Charlotte, NC; five sisters: Gwendolyn C. Aultman (Jeffrey) of Dudley, Annie Mae Stokes (Ronnie) of Goldsboro, Shyrese C. Bowden (James) of Elm City, Gladys C. Branch (Gerald) of Rocky Mount and Wanda Corbin Robinson (MacArthur) Nashville, NC; 2 grandchildren; his loving former wife, Antoinette Coley-Sanders and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
