Goldsboro - Mr. Thadis Coley Sr., 87 of 700 Luther Drive, passed on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Victory Faith Center, 805 S. US Hwy 13, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will lie in state on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Wave of Glory Faith Ministries, 915 McDaniels Street, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on May 11, 1931 in Wayne County, NC to Johnny and Mable Ham Coley. He is survived by children: Gwendolyn C. Aultman (Jeffrey) of Dudley, Annie Mae Stokes (Ronnie) of Goldsboro, Debbie Shyrese Bowden (James) of Elm City, Thadis Coley, II of Goldsboro, Gladys C. Branch (Gerald) of ROcky Mount, and Wanda Corbin Robinson (MacArthur) of Nashville, NC; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
