Ms. Thelma Worrell McCoy's Obituary
Georgia - Ms. Thelma Worrell McCoy, 93 formerly of Goldsboro, passed on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Sacred Journey Hospice, McDonough, GA. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00pm at Emmanuel Apostolic Church, 1329 Arrington Bridge Road, Dudley, NC. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Hwy 117 Bypass, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 12:00pm until 12:50pm at the church.
She was born on June 13, 1923 in Wayne County, NC to Anderson Worrell and Gertrude Thompsn Worrell. She leaves to cherish her memories, three children: Rickie D. McCoy of Hampton, GA, Inez McCoy and Rosa Spencer both of Lawrenceville, GA; three sisters: Gertrude W. McBride of Williamson, GA, Betty Best of Washington, D.C. and Shirley Glenn (Joseph) of Goldsboro, NC; six brothers: Anderson Worrell Jr. of Oxford, NC, Edward Worrell of Fulton, GA, George Worrell (Angelene) of McKee City, NJ, Moses Worrell (Evangeline) of Durham, NC, William Worrell (Peggy) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and Donnell Worrell of Goldsboro, NC; six grandchildren: Rickie Jr., Lammecke, Tamekis, Veronica, Jamell and LaTonya; seven great-grandchildren: Tameah, Darrell, Tanielle, Jade, Jamir, Morgan and Cole.

The family will assemble at the funeral home at 12:00 noon in preparation for the funeral procession.
