Goldsboro - Ms. Thelma Newsome, 77, passed on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Brian Health and Rehab Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00pm at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest in the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm with the family receiving friends from 5:00pm until 6:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born on May 4, 1938 in Greene County, NC to Frank Speight and Rosa Carr Speight. She is survived by her children.
