Mr. Theodore Samuel Hall Jr.'s Obituary
Raleigh - Mr. Theodore Samuel "Teddy" Hall Jr., 56, passed on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 1:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 West, Princeton, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
Teddy was educated in the DC Public school system, attending Gladys K. McGogney Elementary and Hart Jr. High and graduated from Ballou Sr. High.
Teddy after high school attended Howard University and later transferred to University of District of Columbia majoring in Sociology. Teddy started his summer career as a Clerk at the US Courthouse.
In September 1996, “Teddy” moved to Goldsboro, NC where he meet many people. He worked for Chanel Master in Smithfield, NC as a forklift driver. In December 2002, Teddy married the love of his life, Lydia.
Teddy is preceded in death by his father: Theodore Hall, brothers: Ronnie Hall and Wendell Hall.
Teddy as he was affectionately called was born December 04, 1961 in Washington, DC to Theodore Samuel Hall and Florence McClennon Hall. He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia Rouse Hall; a daughter, Laquita Hall; two step-children: Takeshia Rouse of Goldsboro, NC and Derrick Rouse of Raleigh, NC; his Mother, Florence Hall of Washington, DC; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters: Bonita (Michael) Jenkins of St. Louis, MO, Maria Hall and Sherri Mayfield of Washington, DC, Martina Hall of District Heights, MD and Mardel Hall of Waldof, MD; one brother-in-law, Oliver Rouse of Goldsboro, NC; one sier-in-law, Evangelist Carolyn Lewis of Capital Heights, MD; one aunt, Barbara McClennon of Washington, DC. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.
