Goldsboro - Mother Theresa H. Smith, 65, took hold of the Master’s hand on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 12:00pm to 12:45pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on February 24, 1957 in Wayne County, NC to Benjamin (Ben) Calvin Coolidge Smith and Rosa Mae Uzzell Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Sokanya (Connie) Soard (Maurice) of Garner, NC; son, Sergeant Major Santantoniano (Junior) Smith (Capacstreal) of Houston, TX; brother, Benjamin (Pole) Smith Jr. (Janice) of LaGrange, NC; sister, Linda (Skeet) S. Moses of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren: Quientin (Tooto) Smith, Capacstre'ana (Ana) Smith, Santantoniano (Jae) Smith and Ethan (E) Smith-Bunn; one great grandchild, Jade I. Smith and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and.friends.
