Clinton - Mr. Tracy "Junnie" Burns, 75 of 102 E. Johnson Street, passed on Monday, February 4, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on July 10, 1943 in Sampson County, NC to Jesse Carol Melvin Sr. and Thelma Burns Melvin Lamb. He is survived by his loving wife, Ina "Rose" Burns of the home; daughter, Tracina Andrews of Goldsboro, NC; sons: Broderick Melvin, Tracy Jr. Melvin and Lorenzo Melvin all of Newark, NJ; two sisters: Patricia Spearman and Shirley Ann McAllister and three brothers: Jesse C. Melvin of Clinton, NC, Harry Melvin of Chesapeake, VA and Tony Melvin of Winston-Salem, NC. and host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
