Kinston - Mr. Travis S. Thompson, 56, passed on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of his life will be held graveside on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00am at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 West, Princeton, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on February 9, 1964 in Wayne County, NC to Charles William Thompson & Rosa Lee Coley Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Robinson Thompson; his children: Aaliyah Tolbert, Issac Thompson & Vesta Tolbert; siblings: Donise Thompson, Reverend Marshall K. Thompson (Brenda) & Dexter O. Thompson and many other loving family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles W. & Rosa C. Thompson & two brothers: Michael Thompson and Delmus Thompson.
