Waldorf, Maryland - Ms. Vander Lee Underhill Pickett, 78 formerly of Kinston, passed on Friday morning, January 17, 2014 at Louisburg Gardens Assisted Living, Louisburg, NC. There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Pinelawn Memorial Park, 4488 Highway 70 West, Kinston, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home. She was born on March 16, 1935 in Lenoir County, NC to Young and Lucinda Tyson Underhill. She is survived by her children.
