Mrs. Velma Joyce Fryar's Obituary
Turkey - Mrs. Velma "Joyce" Fryar, 82, completed her earthly journey on Sunday, November 19, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 12:00pm at KEMBA, 860 N. Pine Street, Warsaw, NC. The chapel viewing will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the J. Bernardo Rhodes Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 195 Kenansville Hwy, Warsaw, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wilson Chapel Church Cemetery, New Hope Church Road, Turkey, NC.
She was born on August 29, 1941 in Sampson County, NC to Willie Isaac Carr and Beulah Wilson Carr. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, George W. Fryar Jr., her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 601 Gloucester Road, Goldsboro, NC. The will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession at 903 Memorial Drive, Warsaw, NC.
