Smithfield - Mr. Victor Hines, 64, passed on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at SECU Hospice House of Johnston, Smithfield, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 12:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held from 11:00am to 11:50am at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on September 28, 1956 in Wayne County, NC to Fred Hall and Barbara Hines Lassiter. He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Barbara H. Lassiter; two sisters: Constance Shuford and Barbie Jo Lassiter; uncles: Willie Smith (Laura), Wilbert Shepard and William Smith, a host of cousins and friends.
