Mrs. Virginia Sykes Taylor's Obituary
Goldsboro - Mrs. Virginia S. Taylor, 80, kept the faith and completed her course on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00am at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 8, 1942 in Wayne County, NC to John Wilbert Sykes and Sadie Bell Brown Sykes. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Taylor of the home, her three children: Deirdre Isler of Raleigh, NC, Tisha Stephens of Durham, NC and Terry Taylor of the home; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
