I'm sorry to hear of Mrs. Stover's passing. I was in her first grade class in the 79-80 school year. She was a great teacher, firm but caring. I can't help smiling as I read the other comments shared here. She obviously touched a lot of lives over the years. What a great legacy.
Mrs. Stover was my first grade teacher at Edgewood Elementary School in 1981. In my child's mind, she was the best teacher ever. As an adult, and as an educator myself, I know she loved what she did and did it well. She is one of the reasons I am a teacher today. She will truly be missed, but what a precious lady Heaven has now! I will love her always! Prayers to her family. May God comfort you during this time.
