Goldsboro - Mr. Walter Lee Jones, 84 of 703 National Drive, passed on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00am at Deeper Life Church Ministries, 900 Eleventh Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. The repast will follow the interment at Woods Chapel FWB Church, 928 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on February 11, 1934 in Greene County, NC to McKever "Kievy" Jones and Muzzetta "Bush" Thompson Jones. He is survived by his loving wife, Evangelist Karen Durham Jones and three children: Walter Lamont Jones, Ingrid Romona Jones and Mittie Ruth Clark of New York.
