Goldsboro - Mr. Ward Louis Monroe, 88, completed his earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at UNC Healthcare Wayne, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 12:00pm to 12:50pm at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy’s Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC with full military honors.
