Fremont - Mr. Wayne C. Reid, 74, completed his earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward at home surrounded by his loved ones. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:50am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2136 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC.
He was born on August 3, 1949 in Wayne County, NC to Mal Reid and Madie Applewhite Reid. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Coley Reid; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
