Mr. Wilbert Broadhurst's Obituary
Goldsboro - Mr. Wilbert Broadhurst, 83 of 1910 Elton Drive, passed on Sunday morning, May 24, 2015 in the comfort of his home. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1:00pm at Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 7:00pm until 8:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
He was born in Wayne County, NC on February 3, 1932 to William Broadhurst and Carrie Holmes Broadhurst. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Jane "Sweetie" of the home and his daughters: Tersa (Willie) Teachey, Deborah (Frank) Hobbs, Jane Exum and Wilma Graham all of Goldsboro, NC, Wanda (Frederick) Smith of MD, Connie Wilson of VA; his sons: Wilbert Broadhurst Jr., Ricky Moore and Jerry (Wanda) Broadhurst all of Goldsboro, NC; and a sister, Joyce Broadhurst of Goldsboro, NC.
