Goldsboro - Mr. William Tell Hobbs "Bill", 90 of 1425 Tommys Rd, passed on Tuesday morning, December 31, 2013 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the family present from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He was born on October 3, 1923 in Wayne County, NC to George and Eliza Hamilton Hobbs. She was married to and survived by his wife, Hattie Cox Hobbs.
