Goldsboro - Mr. William Earl Kornegay, 72, passed on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be visitation held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 5:00pm until 6:00pm.
He was born on July 8, 1942 in Wayne County, NC to Joseph Kornegay and Sarah Atkinson Kornegay.
