Goldsboro - Mr. William Earl Mitchell, 70, passed on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 12:00 noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held from 10:00am to 11:50am at the chapel. He will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on November 26, 1950 in Goldsboro, NC to James Kennon Best Ada Inez Mitchell Best. He is survived by wife, Patty Mitchell and her three children whom he help rear (Sanbrina, Kenya, and Calvin); his loving mom, Ada Mitchell Best of Goldsboro; two brothers: James Best(Ted) and wife Tricia and Cameron Drew Best and wife Cassandra; three sisters: Mary (Kenneth) Ford, Pastor Deloise (Carl) Waddell and Minister Cassandra Best all of Goldsboro, NC; eight nieces; three nephews, eleven great nieces, six great nephews, three great great nieces, five great great nephews, one aunt, Nellie Thomas of Charlotte, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
