Sister Donetta Poole and family,

My wife and I were moved to hear of Deacon Poole's home-going. As as much as I've faced this part of life, I just haven't gotten accustom to it. There is one thing I do know and this is it. The word of God teaches us that it is precious in the sight of God when one of His children departs this life. God deems their death precious because He receives them home from all their wanderings. If an earthly father rejoices to receive his children home after a long absence, and especially an absence troubled with many dangers and perils, how much more shall God rejoice to receive His children home much more, as He loves his children better than they do theirs?

To the Poole Family,
Please know that Pastor Harold Warren and I were saddened to hear of Dec. Poole's passing. There are so many times we can think about of Dec. Poole. Some of our most memorable ones will be when the Eastern Union get together and he provide song service for the congregation. OR when we visited Holly Hill for any church service. He and his tambourine beating were most times in beat, in tune and on time to get the Holy Spirit moving in the service. His love for Christ showed in many ways and we are going to miss his presence. May his memories be a comfort to you all during this difficult time.
