I still hear his voice, clear as a bell. The only coach who coached me my entire 4 years at Goldsboro High. When I almost quit in the 10th grade because I thought nobody was paying attention, he made it a point to stop me and asked me if I was still gonna play. Changed my life. My only regret is that I didn't thank him when he was alive. Rest easy, cousin.
