Victor Holliday
My Deepest sympathy to the Williams Family.
Mr. Alfred Williams was a very special man. He was was my father's best friend (David Holliday) as young men starting out in Brooklyn NY. They knew each other and their families prior in North Carolina.
When my father David moved to Brooklyn NY him and Alfred were roommate's. As I grew older my father and I would visit Alfred Williams at his Transmission Shop in Brooklyn NY. He was a very productive man working his own business and working a NYC Transit Motor man in the evening. I always admired Mr. Alfred Williams entrepreneurship. In time I became mechanic for NYC Transit being inspired by Alfred Williams and moved though the ranks to Superintendent in Dept. of Buses. Mr. Alfred Williams
insight into real estate investments also inspired me . His examples showed me with
discipline and with God's Blessing you can achieve the impossible if you only have knowledge and faith. With Mr. Alfred Williams as an example today I own more than 10 investment properties in Brooklyn NY. I'm not bragging but I'm just saying Mr. Alfred Williams planted a seed in me about what a Black man can do if you have discipline and work hard towards your goals. Mr. Alfred Williams and the Williams Brothers are like Uncles to me. But Mr. Alfred Williams was a special kind of man who was always put family and friends he loved, first. He always had a way of showing up and you could count on him. He will truly be missed and always remembered as a man who dedicated his life to helping others.
To the Williams family Thank you for sharing your Guardian Angel.
