Goldsboro - Mr. Willie (Will) Arthur "Bud" Best, 77 of 249 Peele Road, passed on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Bear Creek Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest in the Old Mill Cemetery, Central Heights Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, August 1, 2014 in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations from 1:00pm until 7:00pm with the family present from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. He was born on May 13, 1937 in Greene County, NC to Arthur and Nannie Britt Best. He is survived by his wife Janice Best, his son Pastor Will (Ha’ Neefa) Best, Augusta (Joyce) Best, Patricia Best, Alfreda McCoy, Tyrone Best, and Alfreedie Roberson. His Sibling: Althea Howell, Sylvia Shine, Daisy (James) Ham, Marvin (Frances) Best, John (Ann) Best, Phyllis (Gilford) Moore, and Marion (Margie) Best. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The family is receiving friends at the home and at the home of his son, Pastor Will Best, 213 N. Marion Dr., Goldsboro, NC.
