New York - Mr. Willie "Tea Pot" Capel Jr. 43 of Brooklyn, passed on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in Long Island, NY. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
He was born on August 21, 1972 in Brooklyn, NY to Tersa Wooten Teachey and Willie Devone Capel Sr. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Capel and son, Willie Devon Capel of the home (Brooklyn, NY); his loving mother, Tersa Teachey of Goldsboro, NC; four sisters: Beatrice (David) Duren, LaToya Cook, Tiffany Cook and Christina Johnson all of Brooklyn, NY; three brothers: Steven (Angela) Broadhurst of Jordan, Utah, Nicholes (Daisy) Wooten of Painesville, Ohio and Sammy Ammons of Georgia, SC; his grandmother, Jane Broadhurst of Goldsboro, NC; three aunts: Deborah (Frank) Hobbs, Jane Exum and Wilma Graham all of Goldsboro, NC; three uncles: Wilbert Broadhurst, Jerry Broadhurst and Douglas Moore all of Goldsboro, NC; four great-aunts: Mary Rowe, Judy Wooten, Emma Wooten all of Goldsboro, NC and Beatrice Applewhite of Brooklyn, NY; one great-uncle, Clarence (Esther) Wooten of Suitland, MD and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, family and friends. A special friend and cousin, Parrish Hagans of Goldsboro, NC and best friends: Ty Junius and Mr. Lou, of Brooklyn, NY.
