Fayetteville - Mr. Willie "Junebug" Diggins Jr., 48, formerly of Wilson County, NC passed on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Wynn's Chapel Church, 108 Armstrong Street, Elm City, NC. He will be laid to rest on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church.
He was born in Wilson County, NC. He is survived by his four brothers: Elder Kenneth R. Diggins (Tanzie) of Rocky Mount, NC, James A. Manning of Denver, CO, James Allen Meeks of Raleigh, NC and Frankie R. Meeks of Rocky Mount, NC; two sisters: Bertha Moore of Washington, DC and Margaret J. Meeks of Pinetop, NC; two nieces: Shavontaye Diggins of Greenville, NC and Ashley M. Coley of Rocky Mount, NC; one great niece, Skylar J. Diggins of Greenville, NC; two nephews: Demetrius M. Barnes and Jamarian L. Coley of Rocky Mount, NC; three great nephews: Jaiden A. and Jaylen A. Gorham both of Greenville, NC and Christopher H. Phillip of Rocky Mount, NC.
