Mr. Willie Edward Jones' Obituary
Fremont - Mr. Willie Edward Jones, 88 of 806 Chestnut Street, passed on Monday, April 15, 2019 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00am at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. He will be laid to rest on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 10:00am at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on September 9, 1930 in Wayne County, NC to Beatrice Boyette Howell Jones Pate. He is survived by two sons: Larry (Jane) Jones and Keith (Cheryl) Jones; Grandchildren: Jamison, Zoe and Jaye Jones; Aunt, Viola Whitley Jones; Sisters: Ethelene Deans Smith and Daisy Daniels Boone; Brother: Charles Ham, Floyd Jr., Archie and Bobby Daniels; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Boyette Howell Jones Pate; his son, Pierre D. Jones; sisters: Eula Pearl Jones Frazier and Shirley Deans and brother, Robert Jones Sr.
