Goldsboro - Mr. Willie D. Parks, 74 of 303 S. Alabama Ave., passed on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Hwy 117 South Bypass, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the church.
He was born on April 20, 1942 in Wayne County, NC to Isham Parks and Victoria Hooper Parks. He is survived by his two children: Lamont D. Parks of NY and Victoria Parks Smith of GA.
