Goldsboro - Ms. Winnie L. Williams, 79, passed on Monday, November 30, 2020 at home. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on September 8, 1941 in Wayne County, NC to Thomas Best and Carrie Virginia Armwood Best. She is survived by her sons: James E. Williams Jr. (Debra), Glenn Erick Williams, Michael Wayne Williams (Sylvia) and Rickey Jerome Williams all of Goldsboro, NC; one sister, Nancy Best Holmes of Wayne County, NC; one brother, Silas Best of Wayne County, NC; twelve grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
