Faison - Ms. Yolanda Vernell Blue, 45 of 404 S. Faison Ave., passed on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 163 Poplar Grove Church Lane, Faison, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Cobb Cemetery, Juniper Road, Faison, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations.
She was born in Sampson County, NC on January 22, 1971 to Estella Regina Blue and Roy Smith Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Jamyra Southerland.
