We the Lay Council at St James AME Zion Church on George and Spruce St of under the leadership of Rev. Dwight Bernard Cannon recognized Elder Adene George and presented her with a plaque during our 5th Sunday services honoring Black businesses. I am honored to given her flowers while she was yet alive. Also she played a very important part in life of one of my family members. She will never be forgotten.
