Elder Adeen George's Obituary
Goldsboro - Elder Adeen George, 87, completed her earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward. She was indeed a soldier in the army of the Lord, a faithful servant, a virtuous woman, a leader and a pillar in our community. Please keep her family covered in prayer during their time of bereavement. The Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 at Goldsboro Raleigh District Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530. There will be a Public Viewing, Friday, December 5, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Her body will be in repose at the HGDC Community Crisis Center, 607 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530. There will be an Inspirational Wake Service, Friday, December 5, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church, 1003 Dr. H.E. McNair Street (formerly Poplar Street). She will laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass) Goldsboro, NC 27530.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that a donation be made to HGDC Community Crisis Center.
