It was great to see Dillard Saturday evening before his passing on Tuesday. Prior to Saturday, it had been over 30 years since our last encounter. Even though he wasn’t feeling the best, he found strength within himself to give me this “HUGE” smile when I walked into the room. My heart is breaking but I will never forget that smile.

He was a great man. He used to make me smile even when I was down & out. He used to come in where I worked and he was always smiling and he would make my da . I will miss him more than he will know. Rest in peace my great, great friend.
