To the family of James R Stokes. I am sorry to read about the loss of your loved one. The pain is tremendous even with the passage of time. There are scriptures in the Bible to help provide relief of grief and distress. Please read Ps 65:2 that reads "The Hearer of prayers a source of comfort in times of grief and distress.

My prayers and thoughts are with you . James, was my cousin and we enjoyed Christmas together in 2013 at my sister Mary's house. I will remember his smile and quietness. To me he has always so easy going. He told me he spend his days in his recliner watching television . I am sure he will be missed .

Well James Stokes was my stepfather. I couldn't have asked for anyone greater. He loved us like we were his own.I will always love and respect him and remember all the good times we can had and the lessons that we learned as adults also .
