Goldsboro - Reverend James E. Williams, 83, was summoned by the good Lord to return home to glory on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street. Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass), Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on October 15, 1938 in Cumberland County, NC to Eula Mae Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Jean Grantham Williams; his children, and other loving relatives and friends.
