Dudley - Mr. John C. Washington, 99, completed his earthly journey, on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Brookdale Country Day Road Assisted Living, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:45am at the St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, 402 W. Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC.
He was born on May 18, 1924 in Wayne County, NC to Cephus Washington and Minnie Miller Washington. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lena Ellis Washington; his children; grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
