Goldsboro - Mother Julia Mae Pate, 92, passed on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1108 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro, NC with Rev. Dr. Larry M. Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Barnes Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 11:30am to 11:50am at the church.
She was born on April 9, 1927 in Wayne County, NC to Amaziah and Ora Mae Robinson Howell. She leaves to cherish her memories grandchildren: Denisala Pate, Scott Pate and Clarence Pate; two great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Lillie Pate Daniels, Mamie Pate Dawson and Rev. Temple Howell; brother-in-law, Matthew Pate (Hilda); a special nephew, Hollis (Aundria) Gaynor; numerous loving nieces, nephews; Godchildren relatives and friends.
