Dudley - Mr. Julius O. Smith, 65, completed his final mission on a Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, NC. The memorial celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 1:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be interred at a later date at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born in Wayne County, NC to Julius Artis Smith and Helen Louise Lofton Smith. He is survived by his mother, siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
