Dudley - Ms. Karna Jean Evans Carter, 79, passed at home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. The celebration of her life will be held in the on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00am in the mausoleum at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. She will be entombed following the celebration of life. There will be viewing held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on October 15, 1941 in Muskegon, Michigan to Matthew Evans Sr. and Imogene Hayes Evans. She is survived by her children and grandchildren.
