MSG Watson was my Team Sergeant from 09-11, Deployed to Iraq with him in 2010 as part of TEU Bravo 22nd Chem. I really respected his leadership humor and fairness. He kept us safe and out of trouble. We did indeed fear him but we also trusted him with our lives. See you on the other side brother!
Hello, I am sure the family doesn't know me but Marshall and my brother Jeff grew up tomorrow. Marshall was one of my brothers best friends. My sister had a crush on Marshall in her younger years. Jeff and Marshall had a singing group growing up, lol. We loved to watch them do "New Edition". Anyway, Jeff always spoke highly of Marshall even as time went by in life and they didnt see one another. My brother Jeff has already gone home to meet our Father a few years back. And we miss him so much!! But I was super sadden to hear this about Marshall. He was so handsome, funny and always so kind to me. He and Jeff are now singing together again in heaven. My heart goes out to his family. May God confront you all in this time.🙏🏾 Be Blessed!
My Condolences to the family. I am deeply sadden about the passing of my brother and friend. I know of him as a Good Man and Brother. I met “Top” (is what I called him) while he was working at Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. We bonded quickly. I retired from CMPD earlier this year. Me, Top, and another close co-worker of ours met for lunch in which the two of them treated me too and presented me with a plaque thanking me for my time and services to the city. Top will be missed, but, I know, he is in a better place now, no more suffering for my brother, GOD has him now. Love you Top.

Gone too soon, comes to mind when I think of my cousin Marshall. He did so much in his lifetime for his family, his country, and the community. He constantly gave back in spite of his struggles and he is truly an example of great leadership. I last saw Marshall at the Ham family reunion in Goldsboro where we had a wonderful time. I will always be missing him. His words encouraged me so much when my brother died. He was one of a kind. I am keeping our family in prayer. This is a hard blow but God will comfort and strengthen all of us.
What a journey, my brother great times a reliable friend. I’m going to miss you. Rest in peace my man love you.
To the Watson, Joyner family we pray that our God will keep you in perfect peace as you go through these days, months and years because He is the keeper of our souls. Be Blessed we love you all.
