Dudley- It is with sincere condolences that we, the J.B., Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations Staff announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Whitley, 81 of Dudley NC. Mrs. Whitley was called from labor to reward on Monday, January 12, 2026 at UNC Wayne Hospital as she was surrounded by her family. There will be a Celebration of Life held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J. B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive Goldsboro, NC. There will be a private (family only) burial following the Celebration of Life.
