one night uncle Simon (poochie )said a prayer for me and the Holy spirit revealed himself to me ,as i laughed and cryed out loud i knew then that my uncle was a true man of God.
He always took time for me as i was his favorite nephew i loved him the most i cant wait for him to show me around heaven.......ervin

I appreciate him whenhe fixed my car when it broke down and he said to me Teresa dont worry about the tab pay me later. I did what he said and the nextday imade sure he was the first one toget his pay because you dont know when you going to need their help againi truly thank God for Mr.Simon. he really touch many people lives and it wasmuch appreciated. It has been a blessing for me to have known Simon every since 1970's we used to play basketball in their back yard back in the day. I would go over to his Moms I would see him there me and his brothers Marvin and Charles would ride in his Cutlass with T Tops in it. Simon would let his brothers borrow his car at times. Simon always had love for helping people even way back then. So with that being said I've known Simon all my life we would talk and he tell me he loved helping people because it was in his Heart to do so. One thing he would even help people that couldn't afford to pay him were else can you find a man like him. Me and Simon was at Auto Zone this pass Sunday cutting up and joking and laughing when he did work for me he would always say COME STRONG WITH IT..I will always remember Simon as DA Man when it came to fixing a car that was his ''Gift to Us'' Simply put it their will never be another like Simon Oates ...He will truly be missed in this Community. Our hearts are now Heavy but '' God Had A Plan''

I met Mr Oates many years ago at the auto parts store. We shared many laughs, he was such an awesome guy. If he could do you a favor he would, Mr Oates was always helping someone. He truly cared about people. I still can't believe he is gone it breaks my heart. He was a very good person. I will miss him a lot.
